An excursion to discover the Middle Atlas to discover one of the most beautiful natural sites of the Atlas and Morocco: amazing waterfalls of 110 m of water in the middle of cedar forests and sources Natural Arriving in Ouzoud, a word that comes from the Amazigh izid “delicious”, a guide will be waiting for you to visit these magnificent waterfalls over 110m high. By taking the path on the right that overlooks the waterfall, we discover the old water mills. Continuing the descent, we arrive at the place called “Jardins de Mones” and the bottom of the waterfall. You can also discover beautiful caves and then go back to an olive grove. Nearby, the promontory, in the middle of the waterfall, allows to see the water rushing into a green bowl in the middle of a rainbow almost permanent and down the valley, we reach the edges of a lake circular. Going up the river to its source, turtles rub crabs in a superb setting of red cliffs, prickly pears and oleanders. At sunset, it happens that we are surprised families of monkeys of the Atlas. Lunch is provided in a small Moroccan restaurant where you can enjoy skewers or a traditional Tagine.
