An excursion that allows you to enter the High Atlas to discover a valley housing traditional Berber villages, to the waterfalls of Setti Fatma. At 37 kms from Marrakech, you will discover the village of Tafza. A stop in a Berber family will allow you to taste the traditional mint tea with bread prepared and baked by the hostess, honey and olive oil. Also in Tafza, you will have the opportunity to visit an artisanal pottery and see an authentic tower. Right next to Oulmés is a women’s cooperative specializing in the production of argan oil. An interesting tour to discover a significant example of women’s participation in the development of rural activity. Just after the plain of Haouz, you will discover in the valley a succession of exceptional points of view where the steep gorges dug by the meanders of the rivers alternate with the small “douar” with adobe houses. A few kilometers further, you arrive at the village of Setti Fatma located at an altitude of 1500 m, known for its seven waterfalls and century-old walnut trees. Near the waterfalls, your lunch is planned in a small local restaurant in which you will enjoy a typical Berber menu After lunch, a guide will be waiting for you to visit the waterfalls and the village of Setti Fatma.
