Visit Aït Benhaddou, 33 kms before Ouarzazate, one of the best preserved Kasbahs of all southern Morocco, on the list of universal heritage protected by UNESCO.
Visit the casbah of Taourirt Ouarzazate, sumptuous residence of the Pasha of Marrakech consists of a succession of beautiful buildings in earth, forming a fortified village served by a network of alleys. Visit the old apartments of Glaoui which have retained their decoration of painted stuccos and their cedar wood ceiling. Visit the famous library of the Koranic school Naciri in which are preserved Korans and ancient manuscripts on skins gazelle.Arrive M’Hamid desert door, located 40km from the Algerian border. Starting point for many hikes to discover the beauty of the desert. At 8kms: the Reg Lihoudi, splendid landscape of huge dunes.
At 45kms: the Chegaga Dunes known for their impressive length of more than 40kms.
At 140kms: Foum Zgid, famous for its lunar landscapes with huge expanses of dark stone as far as the eye can see – (more than 7H of road to get there by the track)
